Presenter
Deliver weekly talks on contemporary divisive issues ranging from polyamory to artificial intelligence. Facilitate small-group discussions.
New research and/or presentation-building is invited but not required. Presentations will be provided by a central team.
Researcher
Explore the major arguments on all-sides of a contemporary divisive issue. Compile arguments, stories, facts, news, statistics, and more into easily digestible, fun topic guides.
Panelist
Share your lived experience and/or your expertise. Offer a unique perspective in addition to existing research and presentations. Answer questions from the audience.
Performing research and/or preparing a presentation is invited but not required.
Artist
Create works of art in any medium highlighting the emotional complexity and/or dilemma of a particular issue.
Musician
Perform a pre-written song or write a new song capturing the emotional intensity, dilemma, confusion, and complexity of the topic.
Photographer
Capture the energy of the live events on film.
Game Designer
Create interactive, fun group activities that encourage guests to explore the topic.
Merchandise Manager
Manage merchandise design, creation, stock, and sales. Merchandise is designed from artwork created for Real Talk events.
Front Door Manager
Collect entry fees and track attendance.
Inclusion & Diversity Advisor
Help ensure our content, team, and audience are diverse and inclusive in race, gender, socioeconomics, culture, ability, and more.
Social Media Manager
Design and enact a plan to keep our audiences on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube engaged.
Special Events Coordinator
Plan anniversary parties, birthday parties, team outings, and fundraisers.
Animator
Create short animated videos based on Real Talk Philosophy research, slides, artwork, music, community haiku/drawings, and more.
Blog Manager
Create weekly blog posts compiling photos, research, attendance numbers, haiku/drawings, and more.
Videographer
Capture the presentations, performances, and discussions on film.
Video Editor
Edit existing video files into short videos for online consumption.
